City walk in Mandal for groups

Mandal Museum offers an exciting historical walking tour through the town, where you’ll hear stories about the "King of Mandal", trading empires, and the salmon adventures!

Mandal did not receive town status until 1921, but the area has been inhabited long before that. Mandal Museum welcomes groups for guided tours and city walks all year round. In summer, daily art walks are included with your museum ticket. Meeting point is at the museum entrance in Andorsengården.

A walking tour can be combined with various museum visits – for example:

• Vigeland House, Gustav Vigeland’s childhood home

• Andorsengården with its art collection

• Ballastbrygga, the industrial history centre

All are part of Mandal Museum.
