Fishing in Audna river

Approximately 35 km of the River Audnaelva is suitable for salmon angling and has plenty of good pools, rapids and small waterfalls.
When and where can I fish for salmon, sea trout, or Arctic char?
Wild Atlantic salmon is now classified as near threatened on the Norwegian Red List, which means it is at risk of extinction. The Red List helps identify species that need protection and conservation measures to ensure their survival.
The river is split into several sub-zones. Fishing licenses can be purchased at the Kulturtorvet in Vigeland or at petrol stations along the river. The site at Gislefoss waterfall is suitable for wheelchair users. There is also a public toilet.
