Hr. Redaktør! is one of Mandal's most popular meeting places, centrally located in the precinct by the Hestetroa square.
The restaurant offers everything from light dishes and lunch to a full à la carte menu. The restaurant's theme is 1930s newspaper journalism – quite appropriate as the headquarters of the town's local newspaper is on the first floor of the building. The restaurant has outdoor seating, and there are often DJs or live music in the bar at the weekends.
