Lindesnes Cultural Center is an experience-rich fish factory on the way to Norway's southernmost mainland point.
Cultural center in the former fish factory in Ramslandsvågen, on the way to Lindesnes Lighthouse.
The factory dates back to 1950 and had a fish processing department on the ground floor, a canning production on the second floor, and barrel production on the third floor.
Lindesnes Cultural Center speaks to your senses in the lapping language of the sea.
Here you can learn how herring barrels were made, explore the history of canning, and gain insight into the coastal industry and a patient coastal people.
You can wander through a living gallery. You can buy art – or simply sit down, enjoy a cup of coffee, and reflect on how good it feels to be here.
