The salmon ladder in Holumbekken
In the Mandalselva River by Møll Bridge in Holum, you will find one of Southern Norway's largest fish ladders, constructed from natural stone and oak.
Holum Fish Ladder is located just by Møll Bridge and was built to help salmon migrate to their spawning grounds further upstream. From August until November, this is an excellent spot to see salmon and sea trout jumping up close. The area is equipped with benches and tables, making it a comfortable resting place for nature lovers and families alike.
