A walk around Åvitsland
The Åvitslandrunden walk is an excellent circular walk from Alleen in Lyngdal on gravel tracks.
You can cycle, walk or take a pushchair on this walk. The walk can also be extended with a trip up to the beautiful viewpoint on Månen.
From Alleen, turn off onto Eierlandsveien towards Augland immediately beside the petrol station. Go up the hill and then turn right at the first lake (Øygardsvannet). Turn left after 200 metres onto a gravel track past lake Åveslandsvannet and then turn left at the next junction. After around 600 metres, you will pass the path leading up to Månen on your left. Continuing straight ahead will take you down to Agnefestveien and back into Alleen.
Access:
From Alleen in Lyngdal, walk 500 metres along Stasjonsgata until you turn off towards Augland.
