In the summer months it is possible to rent a bicycle and receive tour information and suggestions from the Farsund Tourist Office.
The Farsund Lista country offers a range of possibilities for bicycle rides. You can take simple trips beyond Lista, to the more demanding trips into the Herad area both offering narrow dirt roads.
Bicycle rentals
Bike and baby seat hire (in the summer) are available for rent from the tourist office in Farsund which is located in Torvgaten and at Lista lighthouse. Visitors can contact the tourist office, who can give you advice on different route suggestions and descriptions.
Bicycle routes
Here are some suggestions for hikes in the municipality.
Recommended is the trip from Staumen bridge and up Bøensbakken. This was originally part of the old road between Farsund and Sande in Herad and was built in the period 1899-1904. In 1965 it was closed and is used as a path today with some sections dug into the steep mountainside.
Along Lista beaches there are also a lot of hiking trails. There is one at Havik beach which goes several miles to the west.
Prices (2020):
E-Bikes 300 NOK
Ordenary bike 150 NOK
Children bikes 100 NOK
