Holmevasshytta

Holmevasshytta is an unattended cabin (cooking facilities but no food), which can be rented from Statskog with advance notice.

The easiest mode of transport is by car or taxi on the toll road (10 km) between Flatstøldalen and Svartevatn. From Eldsvatnet there is a marked trail in the direction of Taumevatn, follow this first segment (1.5 km), before the end of Stora Holm Lake, along the shore to the cabin.

Holmevasshytta cabin has 8 beds in 3 bedrooms. Boats are part of the offer, and there are opportunities to fish with nets or with a rod (fishing license must be purchased prior). The lake is rich in both brook and brown trout.
