Kongshamn Gjestgiveri guesthouse

Kongshamn Guesthouse at Hidra island outside of Flekkefjord.
In Kongshamn lays the old house of Jørgine and Petter Pedersen. Today its transformed to a guesthouse.
Here you can start your day with a refreshing bath in the ocean or just «take it all in» from the stairs outside in the morning sun with a cup of coffee and listen to the sound of the waves and the silence.
Kongshamn Guesthouse lays beautifully in Kirkehamn at Hidra Island. A small idyllic place in southern Norway outside Flekkefjord. Here you will find a grocery store, a fish landing and other small local shops. The apartments includes three bedrooms each, with two beds in each room. «Jørgines hjem» is the apartment with the best view and a lot of old «soul» still intact.
As much as possible is preserved during the restoration. In both «Jørgines hjem» and in «Petters hus» you will therefore see old lumber walls, lace curtains and soft colours from the old days.
There are two bathrooms in both apartments, a well equipt kitchen and a cozy living room. Outside there are a big and sunny common area with multiple sitting groups and a view of the Kirkehamn harbour and the sea. In the basement there are a laundry room, fitted with a washer and a dryer.
