Situated just west of Lindesnes, in Lyngdal municipality, between the southern towns of Mandal and Farsund.
Korshamn lies just northwest of Lindesnes, offering beautiful natural experiences, great catches, and an exciting coastal environment.
Korshamn Rorbuer offers rental apartments right by the waterfront, all with sea views and outdoor spaces. They also offer rentals of boats, kayaks, SUP boards, snorkeling equipment, bicycles, island hopping, and sea golf.
With the sea right outside the cabins, you have access to crab fishing and exciting fish species. It’s also not far to beaches and cozy coves where people of all ages can swim and have fun.
The island of Korshamn has several beaches, including Vervågen, Indre Revøy, and on Sutnøy. Island hopping to nearby islands, especially to Markøy and its lighthouse, is highly recommended. Kayaks or boats are suitable for this.
Near the cabins, there is a diving cliff where you can choose to jump from heights between 2 to 20 meters. A challenge for both young and old diving enthusiasts!
There is a self-service convenience store open from 06:00 to 24:00, and a pub/restaurant that is open when the store is staffed or during events. In the autumn and winter, the pub is open when the store is staffed, with food service available upon request.
Camper Vans
Korshamn Rorbuer has facilities for 2 camper van spaces in front of the cabins on the pier. Facilities include electricity, water, laundry, showers, and waste management. Sanitary dumping must be done in Lyngdal. The daily rate is NOK 350 (2024). To reserve a spot, contact post@korshamn.com. Payment can be made by card or VIPPS.
Diving
In Korshamn, diving gems are right outside your cabin door. The diving opportunities here are truly fantastic, offering experiences most people won’t soon forget. Korshamn Rorbuer provides a unique diving manual with detailed descriptions of dive sites in the area. You can dive in straits and kelp forests, and do both wall and shore dives. There are also several wrecks in the area, and you can dive on old cannons.
Facilities include accommodation, food service, 200 and 300 bar compressors, a lockable equipment room, rinse tanks, spray room, drying room, fish cleaning room, meeting room, diving manual, and a digital dive map with coordinates.
