Kviljosanden beach Lista
Kviljosanden beach is located in Lista just outside Farsund in Southern Norway and is one of the many beautiful beaches in the region.
Kviljooden is one of the many beautiful long sandy beaches at Lista in Farsund. This area is also an attractive resting place for waders/birds.
The beach around Kviljoodden is part of a continuous beach from Havik to Østhasselstrand, where you also will find the nearest parking lot available. There is no public parking near Kviljosanden beach. In order to easily get the beach, it is recommended to usa a bike
Take the trip on a hot summer day to go swiming or sunbath, and take your binoculars with you to explore the rich bird life. Kviljosanden is a relaxing and tranquil beach, where birds are more often seen than people.
It is recomended to access Kviljosanden from either Havika or from the farmroad by Kviljo.
From Vanse: Drive towards Lunde, and turn right after a few kilometers where it is signposted to Kviljo. Follow the gravel road and take left to the sea. Follow the road past the farms and park somewhere without interfering with other traffic. Go out to the beach and follow this eastward towards the odd.
You can also drive to Havika and make use of the parking lot there. From there you can go west along the beach to Kviljoodden.
