Nonskarknuden hiking trail
The Nonskarknuden or Norskeknuden as it is also known, is a hiking trail in Kvinesdal with amazing panoramic views from the top.
You can drive up the Kleivsvegen from Egelandsmyra from the main road 465 in Kvinesdal. Please note however, that the Kleivsvegen road is a very narrow, steep dirt road suitable only for cars with four wheel drive and it is not possible to use this in the winter time. For visitors without a 4WD, please park in Egelandsmyra.
It is a 20 minute hike to the top of the peak if you park at the top of Kleivsvegen and if you park at Egelandsmyra, it is about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
There is a post box at the top with a book where you can write your name. it is also used for geocaching.
The view are amazing and you are a lot higher than the Utsikten Hotel - so remember your camera.
