Salmon fishing in Lygna

The Lygna river is well known for its salmon population.
When and where can I fish for salmon, sea trout, or Arctic char?
Wild Atlantic salmon is now classified as near threatened on the Norwegian Red List, which means it is at risk of extinction. The Red List helps identify species that need protection and conservation measures to ensure their survival.
Lygna is in all 82.2 kilometers long, but it is only in the lower half there are salmon - the fish does not travel over Kvåsfossen and up to Hægebostad.
You share the riverbank with local anglers, tourists from Germany and other enthusiasts of all ages. Right above Kvelland waterfall is also a fishing spot for the disabled.
