Urddalsbu
Stay just below Sirdal highest peak (1434 m) in the heart of 'wild reindeer country'.
Urddalsbu is located just below the peak Urdal (1434) north of Rosskreppfjorden. Urddalsbu is an unattended mountain cabin (cooking facilities but no food), which you can rent from Statskog with advance notice.
The cabin has 8 beds in 3 bedrooms. You can travel here by boat (11 km) which is the easiest, but be warned the fjord can get rocky even on the finest summer days. You can travel here by foot on the east side of the fjord, this trip takes 5-6 hours (15 km). There are opportunities for both net and rod fishing in the area (fishing license required).
