Varden at Hamreheia hiking

On the top of Hamreheia in Varden is a popular hiking destination. In 1990, there was a mailbox installed there so visitors can enter it into the geocache. In recent years there has been about five thousand visitors per year.

You can choose to start from Vesterdalen, Austerdalen or from the downtown area in Kvinesdal.

There is a dense network of trails on the heath and the main trails to the Varden are marked with red / blue paint. There are parking facilities at all main starting points.
