Modest Mussorgsky (originally without the g) actually means "introverted music creator". But one cannot say that about his masterpiece "Pictures at an Exhibition". The Promenade and The Bogatyr Gates (The Great Gate of Kiev) are some of the most recognizable pieces in classical music and are far from introverted. But it was created by a true music creator, which Mussorgsky truly was.
