Det Lille Hotel in Risør has 9 luxurious double rooms in the town's old Customs House and 19 comfortable hotel suites with a maritime and romantic atmosphere in the middle of the wooden town of Risør. The hotel has been awarded a number of awards for its unique concept, including Cultural Heritage Award and Norwegian Cultural Heritage's Olavsrose.

Det Lille Hotel in Risør is part of "De Historiske Hotel & Spisesteder" which is an independent collection of hotels and restaurants with buildings of conservation importance. The hotel has two restaurants, Tollboden 1865, which focuses on, among other things, seafood and short-course meals.
