Stangholmen island just outside Risør is a popular place to visit.
Here you'll find Stangholmen lighthouse with restaurant and bar, outdoor stage and lots of bathing areas.
The outdoor stage is used for concerts and festivals like the Risør International Chamber Music Festival. The "FyrJam" music festival is also located here. This is a festival where local bands and international musicians play.
The ferry "Agnes" runs from the main harbour in Risør every 30 minutes during the summer months.
If you arrive in your own boat, there is a pier, toilet and washing facilities.
There are also hiking opportunites around the island.
