Trehyttene i Gjerstad are three tree top cabins located in the forest at Gjerstad (about 45 minute drive from Risør).
This is one holiday you will never forget. No expense has been spared in making these treetop houses outside Risør in Southern Norway with top quality bedding, furniture and appliances.
Kråkeslottet.
This tree house has sleeping for up to 8 people, a full kitchen, bathroom, tv and its own outside open fire place. There are handmade swings and outside playing equipment as well as a swimming area and a little row boat. Also located 20 metres away from the treehouse is a little shed with hammers, nails and pieces of wood where children can make things. This is very popular with the kids.
Gjøkeredet:
This house does not actually touch the ground and is suspended on trees with a staircase leading up to them. It is located a long distance away from the first treehouse in order for both to have their own privacy. There is sleeping for six people and cooking appliances on gas. An outside toilet is also available.
Flåklypa:
It is a ramp up to the tree house, which makes it easier to arrive for disabled people and young children
More information can be found on the Trehyttene website.
