The highest summit in the original municipality of Evje, recognizable by the white dome of the approach radar for Kjevik Airport, Kristiansand.
The hike starts at the car park at Nordbø. The marked path passes through several bog areas, and the final stretch is on a tractor road.
Good, waterproof hiking shoes are recommended. From the summit you can see Evje to the south, Gautestad to the north-east, Årdalsknapen to the north-west and Himmelsyna to the east. There is a 360-degree view of 15 of the region’s municipalities.
