Brokkestøylen is located next to the scenic Suleskar road.

Brokkestøylen – “The most scenic dining experience 2024 – Southern Norway”, LUXlife.

The philosophy of Brokkestøylen is first and foremost to operate sustainably – at all levels. The concept is all natural, from earth to table. Much is grown in Brokkestøylen’s private kitchen garden according to ecological and natural principles. Wild plants and berries are gathered in the nearby forest, within walking distance. Hunters deliver meat from wild game such as reindeer, elk and deer. Wild mountain trout is also on the menu in season. The menu is organic, local and “untravelled”, and is based on the "Kitchen Goddess's" choice of the day and the availability of ingredients.

Opening: You can book a seat at the seasonal gourmet dinners four times a year. 
In addition to this, accommodation and meals are mainly offered to pre-booked groups and various retreats/courses. Guests can also make direct contact by email and book both dinners and accommodation with a few days' notice.

Brokkestøylen has two restaurants
Støylen: Tasting menu. Social dining, original, intimate and historic, almost like a small museum. 

Availability: up to 10 guests. Dinner bookings in advance for groups of 6–10 persons.

The Glasshouse: Local tapas. Various wine and gin tastings as well as larger groups, both private and professional. Availability: from 20 to 50 guests.

Accommodation
Pods and geodesic domes are produced from sustainable and reusable materials. They have running water and flush toilets.

Large, delicious double "grounded" beds with hypoallergenic beddings.

Six pods in total with six king size double beds (two with single beds put together)

Retreats/courses
The tipi, sauna and stamp are used for various courses such as i.a. yoga, "sound healing" and breathing. Certified yoga instructors, breathing and Wim Hof instructors. "Oxygen advantage" and other health-related events.


Sustainably at all levels also means that Brokkestøylen has limited availability based on resources and fresh produce.


Brokkestøylen won LUXlife's "Best Restaurant & Bar Awards 2023 – Southern Norway” and "The most scenic dining experience 2024 –Southern Norway”.
