Southern Norway Agder BYKLE

Downhill biking at Hovden

Take the lift to the top at Hovden Alpine Center and try two very different downhill trails with varying difficulty levels.

The Original trail is a 3 km long technical mountain biking trail, featuring both flow and technical elements. The trail is graded as blue, meaning all features can be rolled. It is more technical than the new "Smakebiten" trail but still manageable for most riders. If you're a complete beginner, we recommend starting with Smakebiten.

Smakebiten is a new blue flow trail that is currently under construction, with approximately 1 km completed and ready for use. The trail is designed to provide a fun experience for everyone, whether you're experienced or a beginner, adults or children.

You can find the trails at the top of Storenos. The Original trail starts straight ahead from the top station. As you descend further down on Mor Åse plain, the trail splits, and you can either continue on the Original trail all the way to the bottom or take the new Smakebiten trail.

Bikes can be rented at Sport 1 at the Alpine Center. Scott Gambler downhill bikes are available in sizes small, medium, and large. The bikes are suitable for riders over 135 cm tall.

You can book the activity and make direct online payment. If you have any questions or need assistance with the booking, please contact Sport1 by phone or email.
