Fishing in Valle

The Otra river is one of the biggest river systems in this part of Norway. Despite the fact that the region is affected by acidification, the Otra has good stocks of trout.
Although the trout is generally small, bigger specimens (1-4 kg) are nevertheless caught every year.
The fish in the river might be of somewhat variable quality.
In the mountains there are lakes with good stocks. Some of them are accessible by car, while others require a hike. So, here is something for everyone.
