Hovden I Setesdal
Hovden offers a varied hiking terrain.
You can choose between the distinctive Hovdenuten with its great views or the smooth rock formations along Børtemannsbekken. Take the chairlift to the top of Storenos or explore the mountains on a longer hike to one of the DNT cabins around Hovden.
The area is also accessible for wheelchairs and prams, and several of the hikes can be combined with fishing.
Most trails are marked, and free maps and information are available for the shorter circular walks. These can be found at the tourist office. For longer hikes, we recommend buying a hiking map of Hovden before setting out.
