Hovden Water Park – New Facility Opening in Autumn 2025

Welcome to Hovden Water Park, a paradise for water play, relaxation, and wellness for the whole family.
Here, you’ll find water slides, a lazy river, waterfalls, jacuzzis, a baby pool, saunas, and comfortable lounge chairs.
In the café, you can enjoy a bite to eat, whether you're on the wet or dry side.

Hovden Water Park will remain open as usual throughout the construction process while we prepare for the grand opening of a modern and unique swimming and wellness center in autumn 2025.

The previous wellness area was unfortunately destroyed in a fire in 2022. Now, a brand-new facility is under construction and will open on September 27, 2025, at 09:00.

Visitors can look forward to:
• A swimming hall with a 25-meter pool and diving boards at 1, 3, and 5 meters
• A wellness area with saunas, a cold plunge pool, and jacuzzis
• An infinity pool (aqueduct) extending over the ski trail, offering stunning views of Hovdenuten and Storenos
• A sauna just meters from the riverbank, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes or hiking trails

Construction began in spring 2024, and once completed, this new facility will be a top attraction for locals, cabin owners, and tourists alike.

For those eager to follow the progress, the construction process can be watched live online. If you take a trip on the ski trail, you can already see the aqueduct taking shape.
