Potholes near Heddefossen in Åseral

Shortly after the exit to Håverstad, when going north from Sveindal to Kyrkjebygd, there is a fairly sharp right turn. On the left side of the road there is a parking place for the bathing spot near the Heddefossen waterfall.

Heddefossen is an amazing example of how the forces of nature shape the landscape. Smooth rock surfaces, potholes, pools and small waterfalls make this a fun bathing spot for the whole family.

Late in the summer the water gets pleasantly warm in these pools and potholes.
