Rygnestad - round trip 2,5 km

Rygnestad/Flateland is one of 20 cultural landscapes in Norway

appointed by the Norwegian Enviroment Directorate.  The buildings up hill is the Rygnestadtunet, part of the Setesdal museum. The walk takes you past two farms. The first one is called “Nordigard Rygnestad” the
second one is called “Åreholtet”. Please stay on the path. 
Further the path leads you through idyllic forest terrain to “Årstog”.
From here you follow the local road back to the start. Please close any gates you may open on your trip.
