Fleinvær is an architectural gem and an accommodation for those seeking a special experience along the scenic road Kystriksveien. The facility consists of nine small houses - each with its own function. Initiator and musician / composer Håvard Lund has built a facility that is designed for deep studies, work, peace and quiet in a wild and beautiful coastal landscape.
Each of the nine houses at the ocean sanctuary has its own function, such as sleeping houses, sanitary houses, kitchen houses etc. A stay here will take you back to nature and let your body lower your shoulders. There are no shops, no cars - and no stress.
The cottages have either two single beds or one double bed. The unique tower-house has 2 single beds. The facility sleeps normally 10 people, but in special cases up to 15 people. .
That each house has a function meaning, among other things, that you have to go down to the bathhouse to go to the toilet. The facility is not particularly well-suited for those who are disabled. .
The view is formidable with the Lofoten islands in your RIGHT EYE and the infinite HORIZON IN THE LEFT. Here you can sit with a glass of wine in the tower house, study the ever-changing nature, and find the peace. Be inspired by this short film.
There are no shops here nor cars. As a guest, you are encouraged to think carefully about water consumption. The drinking water is desalinated seawater. In addition, roof water (which can also be used to drink) is used.
During the summer months, the host is included in the price. In other parts of the year, hosts can be offered for an additional fee. The hosts provide food on the table, warmth in the sauna and total relaxation. During the summer months (June, July and August) you can rent single beds, while in the rest of the year the entire facility is rented in full. A minimum stay of 2 nights is recommended
