Get to know the Norwegian coastal culture and industry through exhibitions and historic walks in the museum Norveg, the old trading place Berggården and other buildings in Rørvik.
The coastal museum in Nord-Trøndelag has a local and regional responsibility for the coastal culture. The museum is located in the coastal town Rørvik, at the preserved fishing village Sør-Gjæslingan and at Vågsenget.
In Rørvik the museum consists of a museums building Norveg, the old trading place Berggården and the old docks. The museum was founded in 1975, and then based on the collection of the local historian Paul Woxeng.
During the summer season you can experience a walking theater, a boat trip out to a “fish farm” and out to the preserved fishing village Sør-Gjæslingan. The restaurant at Norveg is also open during the summer season.
