At the outermost island of Dønna on Helgeland lies Rølvåg Brygge. For those who want to live in a fisherman's cabin in a quiet environment, this is a perfect place where you have your own boat and plenty of space (3 bedrooms).
Rølvåg Brygge has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 8 people. The cabin is well equipped with washing machine, stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, microwave, etc.
There is also satellite TV and WiFi.
Dønna is a natural stop on the trip along the scenic road Kystriksveien and Rølvåg Brygge is well suited as a base for experiencing both the island Dønna and the neighboring island of Herøy. Dønnes Church, the fallos on Glein and Mnt. Dønnesfjellet are some of the experiences many would like have when they visit this place, also called "Ut i Øya" (Herøy and Dønna).
The conditions are good for great fishing experiences. The boat available is a 17 foot Rana Fish with 30 hp outboard engine. There are also good fishing from land nearby.
Final cleaning is included in the accommodation price. Bed linen can be rented.

The great author Ole Rølvaag (1876-1931),is the best known Norwegian-American author. As a young man he moved from Rølvåg on Dønna to South Dakota. His writings describe the emigration from Norway to America. Ole Rølvaag was a professor at St.Olav College in Minnesota. His most famous work is Giants in the Earth, a book about the challenges the Norwegian immigrants met in America. There is a monument in his memory at Røllvåg.
