Bårdsgarden in Storlidalen

Bårdsgarden is located by Ångardsvatnet in Storlidalen and has a year-round road right to the door. The surrounding nature and the fascinating mountain areas have attracted visitors since the late 1800s and continue to do so. It is likely the expansive views towards Kråkvasstind and further towards Storsalen and the Innerdalen mountains that entice people.
The tourist cabin is part of the main building on this large mountain farm, which is still in full operation with milk production. The tourist operation is integrated into the Trondhjems Turistforening (TT) network of self-service cabins. From here, you can go hiking both on skis and on foot, in summer and winter, further into Trollheimen, Innerdalen, and also over to Sunndalen.
You can also rent a boat and fishing nets, and buy a fishing license to fish on Ångardsvatnet.
