Canyoning with Opplev Oppdal

Join Opplev Oppdal for Canyoning in Festajuv. A Perfect Choice for Those Who Want to Push Their Limits - This Will Be a Wild, Fun, and Exciting Experience You Won't Forget.

Ready for a real challenge? Explore the lower part of Festajuv with guides from Opplev Oppdal. Festajuv is where water from Trollheimen and Gjevilvatnet mixes with the Driva river - there is no more dramatic and spectacular canyoning in Norway! The meeting point is Breesgård Turistsenter, where the canyoning adventure begins at Gardshølen. The group follows the canyon downstream at its steepest, as the water cascades into the Driva river. This experience will give you a real thrill and a great sense of achievement.

Before the canyoning, all participants will receive safety equipment and instructions on how to navigate the river and canyon. Then it's time for the main event - jumping from exposed cliffs at various heights into large potholes, climbing along an airy wire, and sliding down a big, natural waterslide. Finally, the adventure concludes with climbing a via ferrata over the powerful Driva, and the group walks back together to the starting point at Breesgård Turistsenter.

Canyoning is best suited for groups, friends, and families looking for an extra challenge, and you should be in good physical shape. Perfect for bachelor parties or corporate outings. This tour is not suitable for those with a fear of water or heights. Minimum age is 12 years, or 9 years if accompanied by an adult.
