"Hytta I Treet" is a treetop hut in Soknedal, 60 km south of Trondheim. Situated seven metres above the ground and 550 metres above sea level, this exclusive treetop hut is set among the pine trees in an untouched and secluded area. The surrounding area is unique, and guests can enjoy wonderful views of the forest and mountains from the treetop hut and large balcony. The treetop hut sleeps up to seven guests, and is well equipped for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, lounge suite and coffee table and sleeping loft. Guests can enjoy the rich animal and bird life. Regular visitors on the balcony include small birds and squirrels. The river Gynnilda runs idyllically past.
There are wonderful opportunities for outdoor recreation activities, such as fishing and mountain hiking, while in the wintertime prepared cross-country ski trails pass just a few hundred metres from the treetop hut. In other words, this is the place for an enjoyable holiday combing activities and relaxation in a unique setting. The treetop hut, which can be booked year-round, is suitable for guests of all ages.
