Ice climbing is an exciting winter activity suitable for anyone who wants to try something new or be challenged, regardless of previous climbing experience. The climate in Oppdal provides excellent ice conditions for climbing, and the activity offers thrills, camaraderie, and a sense of achievement!

Opplev Oppdal offers courses at three different levels:

Level 1 – Toprope Course

Requirements for participation:
Normal good health

Equipment:
Rental of technical climbing equipment: harness, helmet, ice axe, and crampons are included in the price.
Participants who have their own equipment and wish to use it during the course are encouraged to do so.
Climbing boots: We have a limited selection of winter climbing boots available for rent at an additional price of 250 NOK per day.
