Jutulhytta – Luxury by Trollheimen mountains

Experience Trollheimen's beautiful nature all year round!

There are great hiking trails in the mountain area, and separate trails in Nerskogen for cycling enthusiasts. In the summer, you can cool off after your trip by wading in the stream that runs past the cabin and enjoy long summer evenings on the balcony with good sunny conditions. Here you can experience a rich wildlife. Both moose and reindeer roam the area, while birds visit the bird feeder on the balcony or build their nests in the bird boxes.

In autumn, you can find blueberries and cloudberries in the area, and enjoy nature's beautiful autumn colours and the evening sun that colours the sky orange. In winter, you can go skiing straight from the cabin. The thrill-seeking guests can use the ski slopes at Nerskogen skisenter or dog sledding at Trollheimen Husky. Relax in the hot tub on the balcony after a day of activities. There is no light pollution, which gives a fantastic view of the night sky, and opportunities to experience the Northern Lights.

The treetop cabin has room for five people, you can bring your family, friends or have a romantic get-away.

The cabin contains everything you need for good comfort, living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and wc, one bedroom and a dome at the top which also functions as a bedroom. In the dome, you can lie in bed and watch the sunset and the mountains while lighting a fire in the fireplace.

The term “Jutul” originates from northern mythology and is a creature with human form, but with superhuman size and power. In this area there are many legends about these people, and they are well known among the local population.

Price per night is NOK 5,000. We recommend a minimum of two nights to be able to get the best possible experience and time to relax.
