We are quite centrally located – only a 45-minute drive from Trondheim Airport, but still in the remote mountainside which provide the silence and peace of many of us long for in our hectic everyday lives. Every season is beautiful at Kirkebyfjellet – are you looking for an active stay or just relaxation? We say, yes – both, please! During winter we have fantastic alpine slopes and miles of prepped cross-country skiing trails right outside the door! We also have a lovely sauna for you to relax in. Summer and autumn offer endless opportunities for mountain hikes or walking trails in national parks and lower terrain.

Four of our cabins have sleeping space for 8 people, with 4 Twin Rooms and 2 bathrooms.
Our fifth cabin contains sleeping space for 6 people, with 3 Twin Rooms and 1 bathroom – this cabin is adapted for wheelchair users.

Straight across the courtyard you’ll find our Fjellbistro, where we provide you with dining experiences you will not forget any time soon. We offer a distinctive menu – inspired by the raw, local and genuine! 

We also offer conferences and meetings – as well as celebrations and weddings.

Fridays: 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Alpine Café Saturdays: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
During high season (winter holiday and Easter) we are open on more days – please check our website.
