Located approximately 12 kilometers south of Oppdal, Magalaupet Camping is nestled in beautiful surroundings with scenic mountains, and sits alongside the river Driva and the impressive potholes of Magalaupet. This is a popular destination for both Norwegian and international tourists. The campsite serves as a perfect base for exploring Dovrefjell National Park, offering excellent hiking opportunities in both summer and winter.
At Magalaupet Camping, you'll find spaces for motorhomes, caravans, and tents. The site also offers 10 self-catering cabins, ranging from small, simple huts to large four-star cabins featuring two bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchenette, a shower, a WC, a loft, and a veranda. All cabins have running water. Additionally, there are facilities available for all guests: a sanitary building with two communal kitchens and laundry rooms, a shared TV lounge and café with a play corner, a gallery in the reception area, a beautiful outdoor area with BBQ facilities, and a small playground for children.
