The rental boats are very stable and easy to paddle. The canoes accommodate up to 2 people, and the kayaks are single-person kayaks. It is mandatory for everyone on the water to wear a life jacket, which is included in the rental and must be picked up at Oppdal Safari's office in Oppdal Center.

When renting a canoe, you are responsible for the equipment and safety. Oppdal Safari expects the equipment to be returned in the same condition as it was received. Renters are expected to have the necessary skills to operate the equipment.
