Smegarden Camping

In Drivalen, about 8 km south of the center of Oppdal, you will find Smegarden Camping. This spacious campground offers spots for caravans, motorhomes, and tents, as well as rental cabins.

The campsite is conveniently located right by the E6, alongside the Vinstra River, which flows into the Driva River just a few hundred meters downstream. The campground features paved roads, sanitary facilities, a kitchen, a laundry room with washing machines, a solarium, a TV lounge, and a kiosk. There is also a dumping station and water refill point for motorhomes.

Smegarden Camping offers 15 cabins with 2, 4, or 6 beds, ranging in size from 8m² to 50m². The cabins are equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, and cable TV. Other services include 10-channel cable TV for connection to caravans/motorhomes and free Wi-Fi. Tent spaces are also available for those who prefer, and guests can use all the campsite’s amenities.

Smegarden Camping is ideal for both nature enthusiasts and families. There are two play areas on the campsite, equipped with slides, seesaws, sandboxes, and trampolines. The campground is surrounded by beautiful nature, with towering mountains and charming valleys. Take your travel companions for a hike up Loslia, into Vinstradalen, or around the Driva River over the suspension bridge and along the scenic trails. As a guest, you can also fish for free in the river and use the grills at the campsite's shelter.
