The historic farm Storli Gard at end of the Storlidalen valley in Oppdal is surrounded by the Trollheimen mountains. The farm has been owned by the same family since the 17th century meaning there is a lot of proud farm and family history here. Today, the hosts on the farm are Wenche and Hallvard who carry on the tradition.
As well as being a working farm focusing on sheep farming, Storli Gard has long functioned as a guest farm in the middle of the mountains. The hosts offer self-produced farm food and pleasant accommodation. This is a unique base for mountain hiking and recreation.
The house can accommodate 23 overnight guests with dining. A further four can stay in the converted food storehouse, which also has facilities for self-catering. The hosts can also cater functions for up to 50 people.
Several miles of groomed cross-country ski trails start from just outside the living room door. This is also a paradise for ski touring enthusiasts. Guests at Storli Gard will experience majestic and beautiful surroundings outside and an intimate atmosphere with all the comforts of home inside.
