Storli Gard

Storli Gard – Genuine Farm Life and Unique Mountain Experiences in Storlidalen
At the far end of the scenic Storlidalen valley lies Storli Gard – a historic mountain farm owned by the same family since the 1600s. Deeply rooted in local history and tradition, the farm is run with passion for both sheep farming and hospitality.
Surrounded by majestic peaks, Storli Gard offers direct access to some of Norway's most spectacular mountain terrain. In winter, the farm is known for its reliable snow conditions and rando skiing. The ski trail to Tovatna is groomed by the farmer himself, ensuring pristine conditions for guests. In summer, the valley opens for endless hiking opportunities in the Trollheimen mountain range.
Guests can stay in the main farmhouse, which accommodates up to 23 people, or in a charming stabbur (storehouse) with 4 beds and a self-catering option. Meals in the main house feature traditional farm food, with lamb from the farm’s own flock, game meat, fresh mountain trout, and craft beer brewed on site.
Storli Gard also hosts gatherings and events for up to 50 people, serving local and seasonal dishes in atmospheric surroundings. Staying at Storli Gard is more than just an overnight experience – it’s a taste of authentic mountain life.
