What is canyoning?

Canyoning is all about getting down with all the challenges this will present. Come along to the untouched parts of the Ølmosjuvet by abseiling, sliding down natural slides, jumping into 4 m deep pools and swimming down the river gorge. The area you are traveling in is inaccessible without equipment, like a hidden gem and a world unknown to most. The stretch is 1200 m long, the descent is 145 m and the trip takes 2 - 5 hours.

Who is canyoning suitable for?

Canyoning is suitable for you who are in relatively good shape, as it is a physically demanding activity. You must be able to swim and you must be over 15 years old. No previous experience is necessary as you will receive full training and instruction from professional guides who will lead you safely down the river gorge so that you can enjoy the experience to the fullest. Safety is always the highest priority for the guides, who will be the first and last over the rappel edge!
