You can count on finding plenty of huge cod and saithe, and in the fjords there is a lot of haddock, mackerel, tusk, ling and cod.

In the winter, the fish tend to come closer to the shore at Bessaker, making a wide range of species easily available at short distances.

The main winter species is cod, however you can also expect to find halibut, pollock and saithe. From the shore, you have a good chance of getting flatfish on the hook. If the weather permits, you can venture out to sea where you can fish for snapper and large ling. To top it all off, with a little bit of luck you will get to see the northern lights during your trip.

From NOK 650 per day for a flat
From NOK 929 per day for a rorbu (fisherman’s hut)
From NOK 650 per day for boat hire (17 feet/40 HP)
