Get your tickets to the Peer Gynt Festival events

Make sure to buy your tickets in advance to one of Norway's largest cultural festivals. Find out more about tickets and prices.

There are several ways to buy your tickets for the Peer Gynt festival:

  • Use Billettservice to purchase your tickets online (search for "Peer Gynt-stemnet"), or contact Billettservice by phone: +47 815 33 133.
  • You can also call directly to the Peer Gynt festival office: +47 959 00 770.

If you choose to book and pay for your tickets online, you will receive the tickets in an email and must print them yourself and bring them along to the festival.

If you call the Peer Gynt festival office there are several ways to pay and collect your tickets. The sales attendant will be happy to tell you about the various options.

Peer Gynt at Gålå

Henrik Ibsen's "Peer Gynt" is performed at the outdoor theatre venue by lake Gålåvatnet in the Gudbrandsdalen valley. Professional actors and 80 voluntary performers are on stage, accompanied by music inspired by Edvard Grieg’s original stage play music.

The play lasts 3,5 hours, including intermission, and starts at 7:30 pm on 4., 5., 6., 9., 10., 11., 12. August 2017.

There are numbered seats, with 3 areas and 3 price ranges. Ticket prices for adults are from NOK 390-740, and for children from NOK 165-310.

Make sure to pack and dress in warm clothes, as it is cold when the sun goes down in the middle of the theatre performance.

The mountain concert "by Rondane"

Experience renowned Norwegian artists at the mountain concert on Kvamsfjellet mountain, overlooking the Rondane National Park. Sit down between the blueberry bushes and enjoy the view and music on this unique outdoor arena.

There are numbered seats on benches in front of the stage (Code: ROH-BENK). Ticket prices for adults are NOK 520, for children NOK 280, and for students NOK 405.

You can also choose to sit in the heather (Code: ROH-LYNGEN). Bring a chair or something to sit on, and find a spot with great view to the stage and the mountains. Tickets prices for adults are NOK 420, for children NOK 180, and for students NOK 305. International student cards are accepted.

Date and tickets are released winter 2016/2017.
