Chinese government allows group travel to countries that have been granted Approved Destination Status (ADS). For Norway, VisitNorway is responsible for maintaining the ADS list together with the Norwegian Embassy.
If your company is an incoming or DMC operator that organizes trips for Chinese groups, your company must be on the ADS list.
VisitNorway is currently updating the listing and will submit the applications to the ministry at the end of April. In addition to filling out the application form, documentation showing membership in the Travel Guarantee Fund, or a European or Chinese liability insurance must be emailed to [email protected]
Please note that you have to apply every third year to be listed, or earlier if your document status changes. If you do not re-apply your application, you will be removed from the list.
