Benefit Concerts at the Christmas Market in Trondheim
Every day at 5:00 PM, the Trondheim Christmas Market invites you to enjoy atmospheric benefit concerts – a warm and meaningful tradition during the holiday season. The concerts support The Salvation Army’s annual Christmas campaign, where all contributions go toward their important work in Trondheim. The Salvation Army supports people in vulnerable life situations through food assistance, inclusion programs, community support, and practical help. By enjoying the music and making a donation, you help make Christmas a little brighter for those who need it most.

08.12 – Dockery Dawgs
On Monday, December 8, the audience will enjoy Dockery Dawgs, an acoustic blues duo based in the Trondheim area. Formed in 1997 by vocalist Geir Engen Hansen and guitarist John Ivar Reitan, the duo has released several albums, toured both nationally and internationally, and after a pause, returned as both a band and duo. Their music has its roots in blues from the 1920s and 1930s, but with the distinctive “Dawgification” that gives their sound a unique touch. Now back to their acoustic duo format, they will spread joy and soulful blues in true classic style at Torvet in Trondheim.
