The magical Christmas atmosphere is back at Torvet from December 3-21, 2025.

Experience one of the northernmost Christmas markets in Europe. See the magical atmospheric blue hour, characteristic of northern parts of Norway, while you wander between live bonfires, fir trees, lavvos, ferris wheels, Christmas music, children's theater and the most beautiful wooden stalls covered in thousands of small lights.

Featuring 80 exhibitors

The market offers over 80 different exhibitors who bring unique crafts and local food products. Here you will find the finest Christmas gifts, Christmas trees and everything else you could want for the big Christmas party.

Lavvo with local food

Enter the warmth of our magnificent Lavvo, with seating for over 500 people. Here the fires burn all day and the benches are covered with reindeer skins. This offers a warm and cozy atmosphere with troubadours on stage every day. On the menu you will find a unique selection of local brews and dishes, such as freshly fried reindeer burger and bacalao.

The Christmas market is not just a market, but a meeting place with a diverse cultural program. Every day there are activities, theater performances, workshops, talks and concerts for young and old.
