Svermeri Café and Redesign

Svermeriet is a cosy café nestled in a green park (Jaklins plass) in the northern part of the city – close to the Polar Museum, Perspektivet Museum, Skansen, Tromsø Bridge and just a 15-minute walk from the Arctic Cathedral.

We serve both hot and cold drinks (including beer and wine), a variety of soups, lasagnes, and sandwiches. During the winter season, we also offer a breakfast package from 8 AM (08:00) until lunch service begins at 11 AM (11:00). In addition, we are perhaps best known for our wide selection of homemade cakes.

The café is spread across several floors and rooms in one of the city’s oldest houses. We also offer outdoor seating in both summer and winter – weather permitting.
