Tour to Amlaholten in Kaupanger with a panoramic view of the Sognefjord
The round trip to Amlaholten is one of the tours in Kaupanger that you must take with you. This is a very popular trip starting from Festingadalen (SIMAS) where you can take the round trip on a good forest road. Due to overgrown forest at the top, it is recommended to go a little south where a magical view opens up to me. The path is marked with red dots. In some places it is a bit steep, but otherwise a nice trip.

How to get to Amlaholten: Drive towards the ferry quay Mannheller, but before the tunnel you turn off the road to the Festingedalen waste station (SIMAS).
