Bragernes Kirke
After the old church burned down in the great city fire in 1866, it was decided that the new church would be built on the Album loop with a monumental location overlooking Bragernes Torg. The church was consecrated on July 12, 1871.
The church is a large long brick church with a long nave, choir in the north and tower in the south. The choir has a three-sided end to the north and a side room on the east and west sides. The ship has two rows of masonry pillars that divide the space into a nave and two aisles. The south bay of the side aisles is designed as a stair tower and flanks the high main tower in front of the south end of the nave. Architect Ernst Robarth Dalin Norgrenn. Built in 1971. The church has 850 seats and 3 galleries.
