To spend time outdoors, the whole year around, is generally important to Norwegians, but maybe especially important to northern Norwegians. Learn more about our "tur" culture. From 450 NOK.
To spend time outdoors, the whole year around, is generally important to Norwegians, but maybe especially important to northern Norwegians. Kids are brought on trips before they can walk and through this proximity to nature they learn to respect wind and weather and they learn basic survival skills.
We invite you to come outside with us, like the locals do. The trip starts with a short bus trip out of the city center, to then hike to our camp where we'll spend a few hours. The guide will show you how to quickly start a fire and prepare a lunch over the flames after that. While the food is getting ready you can go on a little adventure near our camp and maybe find some of the forests treasures.
Our local guide will also give insight in how Norwegians use their nature in every day life and tell some stories about the area.
We start at our store in the senter of Harstad for a quick introduction. No previous outdoor experience is needed.
The tour includes a local guide, transport to and from the camp and a simple lunch.
Bring outdoor clothes and check our dressing tips for Northern-Norway. Also bring something to drink.
