To spend time outdoors, the whole year around, is generally important to Norwegians, but maybe especially important to northern Norwegians. Learn more about our "tur" culture. From 450 NOK.
To spend time outdoors, the whole year around is generally important to Norwegians, and the phrase "there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing" is embedded in the Norwegian soul.
We invite you to come outside with us, like the locals do. The trip starts with a short bus trip out of the city center, to then hike to our camp where we'll spend a few hours. The guide will show you how to quickly start a fire and prepare some food over the flames. While the food is getting ready you can go on a little adventure near our camp and maybe find some of the forests treasures. Your guide will share insights on how Norwegians use the nature in every day life and entertain you with some stories from the area.
We start at our store in the center of Harstad for a quick introduction. No previous outdoor experience is needed.
The tour includes local guide, transport to and from the camp and a light meal.
Bring outdoor clothes and check our dressing tips for Northern-Norway. Also bring something to drink.
